Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Arc10 Technologies Inc. · Toronto, ON
- Lead engineering across Arc10's products and client engagements, and own the production estate they run on: a kubeadm Kubernetes cluster with a k3s non-production tier, both delivered pull-based through Argo CD, on Proxmox behind an OPNsense edge.
- Built Praetor, which let operators with no Kubernetes experience become compute providers on Akash Network. Akash acquired it in 2024; I released the source into the acquirer's org, reworked it into the Akash Provider Console API, and maintained it through 2026.
- Akash HomeNode: consumer-grade GPU machines join Akash clusters as Kubernetes worker nodes with no Kubernetes knowledge required — a zero-secrets ISO, a forked Ubuntu installer, a self-hosted Headscale/WireGuard mesh with Calico iBGP route reflectors, and a GPU-weighted payout engine over ClickHouse telemetry.
- Designed the agent platform behind AuraMind, Arc10's enterprise AI product: agents defined at system, org, and user scope; a plug-in tool registry with graded permissions; an orchestrator that routes and fans out to sub-agents under wall-clock and token budgets; run-tree observability with an eval harness; and a dialogic builder that turns a description into a working agent.
- Gave those agents their reach — document retrieval with citations, SQL over tenant tables, web search, image generation, email and Slack notifications, MCP connectors for third-party SaaS, and sandboxed execution of model-authored code. Agents start from chat, webhook, schedule, Slack, or API, and always resolve data access against the invoking user's permissions rather than the author's.
- Client delivery: a performance engagement with the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction that made report generation 13.6× faster on heavy structural designs with byte-identical engineering output; Ethereum ETL pipelines on Airflow and EKS; real-time sales reporting built to an Ontario government compliance requirement; and Dynamics 365 Business Central integrations.
Senior Systems Architect
Municipal Property Assessment Corporation · Pickering, ON
- Helped decommission the Integrated Property System, the legacy platform behind Ontario's property assessments.
- Designed the MVP that replaced it, drawing on first-hand knowledge of the integration paths between IPS, UV, MVP, EMS, and SOURCE — I had written the web services that connected them.
- Designed the organisation's first Kubernetes cluster, introducing container orchestration to a team whose applications had only ever run on conventional hosts.
- Architect on a team of roughly eleven, supervising its co-op engineers.
Systems Designer / Developer
Municipal Property Assessment Corporation · Pickering, ON
- Built a RabbitMQ and Spring AMQP messaging channel moving JSON payloads between internal systems, plus the web services integrating IPS, UV, MVP, EMS, and SOURCE.
- Moved the hosting environment from Windows to Linux.
- Stood up Jenkins on Linux with application and database deployment jobs running through DEV, QA, SIT, UAT, and PROD — database deploys automated with Apache Ant and shell scripts, applications packaged with Maven.
- Built live log streaming from EC2 application servers to the browser using the JCraft API and Apache Kafka, and prototyped the deployment pipeline with Chef.
- Developed and maintained Ontario's largest property assessment system end to end, from business-analyst requirements through design and implementation, in Java and J2EE — JSP and Servlets, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Struts, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
Systems Developer (Co-op)
Municipal Property Assessment Corporation · Pickering, ON
- Built an application that ran year-end reports automatically, published them to SharePoint, and circulated the link to the project team.
- Developed application modules and business logic in Java and J2EE — JSP, Servlets, POJOs, and session EJBs — with Hibernate for persistence and a reusable DAO layer standardising database operations.
- Worked production support: monitored production logs, fixed critical issues, and prototyped replacing a custom data connection pool with the JBoss-managed pool.
Software Developer
Aarbey Software Solution · Ahmedabad, India
- Built a PC configurator for an online retailer: customers specified a build component by component and received a real-time quotation.
- Worked in ASP.NET and C# with Entity Framework and SQL Server on an MVC architecture, migrated the views to Razor, and deployed to IIS.
